The Summits Secretariat promotes the participation of civil society organizations and social actors in all phases of the Summits Process:

Within the framework of the X Summit Process, particularly during the preparatory phase, the Dominican Republic, as host country, in collaboration with the Summits Secretariat, carries out different activities to strengthen the participation of civil society organizations and social actors. These activities include discussions on recommendations for the Summit theme, national and regional consultations, dialogues with government representatives, among others.

Within the framework of the IX Summit Process, particularly during the preparatory phase and the IX Summit activities, the United States, as host country, and in collaboration with the Summits Secretariat, facilitated various activities to strengthen your participation in these two stages. These activities included discussions on Summit themes, national and regional consultations, dialogues with government representatives, among others.
The follow-up and implementation phase of the mandates of the IX Summit has begun. We invite you to join the Process.
