Did you know...

...that in Mexico, government agencies have been actively working to strengthen the actions of the Federal Government to guarantee the right of women to a life free of violence? Mexico established a National Commission to prevent and eradicate violence against women in compliance with its General Law on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence and in accordance with international agreements in the field of women’s rights ratified by the Mexican State. This also reflects a fulfillment of Summits commitments. In order to reach a wider audience and create greater awareness, a media campaign was also launched to highlight this issue.
