Did you know...

Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres (Inmujeres)...that in Mexico, government agencies have been actively working to strengthen the actions of the Federal Government to guarantee the right of women to a life free of violence? Mexico established a National Commission to prevent and eradicate violence against women in compliance with its General Law on Women’s Access to a Life Free of Violence and in accordance with international agreements in the field of women’s rights ratified by the Mexican State. This also reflects a fulfillment of Summits commitments. In order to reach a wider audience and create greater awareness, a media campaign was also launched to highlight this issue.
