Did you know…
…that in
Chile you can start a business in 7 days? With a policy aimed at entrepreneurship and economic growth, the Government of Chile has successfully simplified procedures to register a new company, reducing the set-up time from 27 to 7 days. This policy facilitated the launch of 58,407 new businesses in 2011, generated new economic opportunities for the country and boosted Chile’s ranking from 62 to 27 according to the World Bank‘s
Doing Business 2012 data. This information was collected as part of the Doing Business project which measures and compares regulations related to small and medium-sized businesses in
183 countries.

measures to simplify the processes involved in establishing and closing business ventures, with
the goal of reducing business start-up time to a maximum of 30 days by 2015...”
