Registration process for civil society and social actors participating in the X Summit

The Dominican Republic, host country of the X Summit of the Americas, and the Summits of the Americas Department of the Organization of American States (OAS) invite civil society organizations and social actors from across the hemisphere to participate in the Civil Society and Social Actors Forum and the Dialogue with High-Level Government Representatives. As part of the official program of the X Summit of the Americas, these events will take place at the Dreams Dominicus La Romana Hotel in La Romana, Dominican Republic, from December 1 to 3, 2025.

Hemispheric Forum of Civil Society and Social Actors

Spaces that will offer participants the opportunity to:

  • Participate in discussions with experts on topics of interest;
  • Learn about current projects and initiatives of civil society and social actors on the themes of the X Summit;
  • Establish alliances with other organizations and/or actors
  • Finalize the preparation of the statements to be presented during the Dialogue with High-Level Government Representatives.
Dialogue with Civil Society, Social Actors, and High-Level Government Representatives

A space in which representatives of civil society and social actors will interact with high-level representatives of the countries participating in the X Summit of the Americas.

Before registering to participate, you must follow the guidelines outlined in the registration process document and carefully read the information bulletin, which details the corresponding logistical aspects.

Only applications from civil society organizations and social actors that correctly and completely provide all the information required in the Pre-Registration form will be considered.

The following activities are planned for the Forum:

Thematic discussions

A space for debate and exchange of ideas and experiences between experts, representatives of civil society, and social actors on a specific topic. The discussions will promote open, interactive dialogue and collective learning. (limited spaces available)

Evento 3
Social laboratories

A collaborative space where participants come together to identify, devise, and test innovative solutions to social challenges that cut across the thematic areas of the 10th Summit, with the aim of encouraging reflection, constructive debate, and the generation of new perspectives (limited places available).

Working group meetings

These subregional thematic working meetings, with the spokespersons of the 16 subregional thematic groups, will promote ongoing work focused on the document resulting from the Forum and aligned with the four thematic areas of the 10th Summit of the Americas.

Initiatives Fair

It will provide a space for representatives of civil society and social actors to present their projects on the priorities of the 10th Summit and related topics, with the aim of highlighting their work and promoting the exchange of good practices among them.
